Sigma International was founded in May 1978 as a processor of mullet and mullet roe, so prevalent at one time in the waters of Tampa Bay. Its heritage as a successful, well-managed company is mirrored by its affiliated Sigma Brothers corporation that specializes in non-seafood items. Over the years, Sigma's seafood business has grown and expanded into becoming the nation's largest importer of high quality fresh and frozen crabmeat from China. We're also recognized in the industry for our Indonesian blue crabmeat.
